Files that outlive you

Stash stores your files on the Arweave blockchain. No subscriptions, no deletions, no data loss. Upload once, keep forever.

The problem

Google Drive, Dropbox, and iCloud charge you monthly rent for your own files. Miss a payment, and they delete everything. Change providers, and you start from scratch. Your files live at the mercy of a corporation.

Stash is different. Your files go directly to the Arweave blockchain — a decentralized network designed to store data for 200+ years. No single company can delete them, shut down access, or raise your prices.

How it works

01

Upload

Drop any file up to 6GB. No account needed for your first upload.

02

Stored on-chain

Your file is uploaded to Arweave via Irys. You get a permanent URL that works forever.

03

Share or keep private

Organize files in folders. Make them public with your own archive page, or keep them private.

Why not Google Drive?

Truly permanent

Google can delete your files for TOS violations, account inactivity, or service shutdown. Arweave data persists for 200+ years across thousands of nodes.

Uncensorable

No single entity can remove your files. Once on Arweave, they exist independently of any company, government, or platform.

Decentralized

Your files are replicated across a global network of miners, not a single data center. No single point of failure.

No subscription trap

Google Drive costs ~$100/year for 100GB. Over 10 years, that's $1,000+ for files you could lose the moment you stop paying. Stash is free or pay-once.

Your data, your links

Every file gets a permanent Arweave URL you control. No login required to access them. Share the link, and anyone can view it — forever.

Fast uploads

Resumable uploads via TUS protocol handle files up to 6GB reliably, even on slow connections. Upload breaks off? Pick up where you left off.

Under the hood

Stash uses Irys (formerly Bundlr) to upload data to the Arweave permaweb. Irys bundles transactions for fast confirmation while Arweave provides the permanent storage layer.

Free-tier files are stored on the Irys devnet and automatically re-uploaded every 15 days to prevent expiry. Paid plans store directly on Arweave mainnet for true permanence.

All uploads use the TUS resumable upload protocol — files are split into 5MB chunks and can resume from interruptions. Up to 6GB per file.
